The full balance must be paid 4-weeks before your collection date. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card.
Continental Use
An additional £85 per week. This includes Green card insurance, mechanical breakdown and recovery insurance, this reduces to £40 for each week over two.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to secure the booking. This will be deducted from the final cost. A Security and excess deposit (cleared funds i.e. Credit/debit card) of £600 is required on collecting the vehicle (£1,200 where marked **). This will only be refunded if the motorhome is returned undamaged, clean, cassette toilet emptied and on time.
Insurance
Comprehensive cover is provided for up to two drivers per hire. Drivers must be between 25 and 70 years old, produce a full UK licence, which has been held for at least 1 year, declare any endorsements and be accepted by our insurer. The named driver only can drive the motorhome on the hire agreement. If an accident does occur the hirer must complete an Accident claim form before the return of the motorhome.
It is the hirer responsibility to replace any damaged tyres caused by punctures.
The motorhome must not be hired, loaned or rented out to any third party.
Collection/Drop off Times
You may collect the motorhome from between 3pm - 5pm. The motorhome must be returned by 10am. The driver is only insured for the period of the hire. If the motorhome is not returned on time and is driven, the driver will be uninsured. Charges will be deducted from the deposit for late return.
Breakdown Policy
In the event of breakdown or accident the breakdown cover is at the use of the hirer. You may allow repairs to be carried out up to the value of £50.00. We will reimburse you when you return with the receipt. In the event of failure of a component contact us we will endeavour to replace or repair the fault.
We are not responsible for hotel or any other expenses subsequent to breakdown. Davan Hire is not liable for any third party claims or damages in connection with any accident or breakdown.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited by law in hire motorhomes.
Pets
We allow pets in one of our motorhomes. We charge £40 per hire for this.The pet must not be allowed on the seats unless covered and any damage caused will be chargeable.

Fuel Policy
The fuel tank is provided full. It is asked that it is returned full. The tank holds @ 80 litres, so a charge of £15 will be deducted from the security deposit per quarter mark on the gauge for any shortage.
