The Mega-frame advantage: stronger support for exposed & windy sites
If you pitch on coastal sites, open fields, promenades, or anywhere that catches the wind, frame strength matters.
What is the Walker Awnings Mega-frame?
The Walker Awnings Mega-frame is an extra-strong steel frame system (28/32mm options), engineered for superior stability and built by Campion—who also supply Mega frames across the industry. It’s widely regarded as one of the strongest awning frame options available, making it ideal for seasonal awnings and demanding locations.
Why it’s worth upgrading
- Dramatically improved lateral stability
- Designed for exposed, high-wind locations
- Strong seasonal performance without sacrificing a clean look
Walker Awnings Mega-frame compatible models
The following Walker Awnings models can be ordered with the Mega Frame as a standard option:
- Walker Fusion II – latest all-season iteration with enhanced wind resistance
- Walker Dynamic 250 – ideal for touring plus longer stays
- Walker Scandic 300 – excellent all-season choice
- Walker Atrium 300 – panoramic comfort with a sturdy 3m deep canopy
