Caravan and motorhome insulation and heating updates.
Christmas time may not be the most obvious to go on holiday and escape from modern life, however, Christmas is a great time to settle in a cozy caravan to spend quality time with family and friends.
Many of our customers tell us they enjoy camping outside in their caravan or motorhome when visiting friends and family. Despite the cold weather, modern Caravans and Motorhomes have seen huge updates in insulation and heating systems over the last few years. Many new caravans and motorhomes come with the option for remote access to lighting and heating. (Swift Command & Truma iNet System). Swift Command is fitted as standard across Swift range making it easy to manage, monitor and control your on-board systems. Truma’s iNet system is also available as an option across most, Pilote, Knaus and Weinsberg ranges as well as some older models. The award winning Starclass range from Knaus also comes with an electric underfloor heating system for added comfort during those cold spells. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about the brisk walk to your caravan or motorhome, but at least you know that it will be nice and cozy inside when you arrive. Why not cook alfresco, citizens of Australia and the USA have been cooking their turkey on the BBQ for decades.
If you are caravanning this year, we recommend research on where to pitch. Try to avoid pitches at the bottom of a valley where water may collect, and site your caravan close to a hedge or wall as it can act as a windbreak in windy conditions.
If you are away in your caravan why not share your pictures with us on the Davan Facebook page.
Whatever you are doing this year we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.
