Swift Challenger 480: questions buyers ask
What's the washroom like in the Challenger 480?
It's a full-width end washroom with a separate shower cubicle, kept apart from the toilet and basin area for easier day-to-day use.
What's the kitchen worktop space like?
The kitchen includes a fold-out worktop extension that adds extra preparation space when you need it, then folds away.
What heating and hot water does the Challenger 480 use?
It's fitted with Truma heating and hot water; some model years use Truma's dual-fuel CombiNEO system, so check the specification of the individual caravan.
What chassis is the Challenger 480 built on?
A single-axle Al-Ko chassis, keeping it lighter and easier to tow than the twin-axle models further up the range.
What car can tow the Swift Challenger 480?
The Swift Challenger 480 has an MTPLM of 1,281 kg. Using the 85% guideline, a tow car with a kerbweight of about 1,508 kg or more is a comfortable match. Since the December 2021 rule change, anyone with a standard category B licence can tow a caravan this size. Send us your car's registration and we will check the match.
How many berths does the Swift Challenger 480 have?
The Swift Challenger 480 has 2 berths. Ask us for a video tour and we will show you each bed made up.
